Missed Connections by Sophie Blackall

After illustrating over 25 children's books, Australian-born New Yorker Sophie Blackall
has immersed herself in an ongoing project, this time for adults.
She came up with the idea upon perusing the online classified ad site Missed Connections.

Do you remember ever making eye contact with a stranger,
or having a chance encounter,
only to have that person move on and out of your life?
"If only..."
"What if..."

Sophie's creativity kicked in, and soon she was illustrating these brief moments of possible love.
She compiled them into a book, Missed Connections: Love, Lost & Found.
and was thrilled to be commissioned to do a poster for NYC subways.

Enjoy these favorites of mine,
plus a great Etsy video with Sophie telling us about the experience.
